Dressing in the heist of the summer may be easier than at other times of the year because we don’t need too many pieces of clothing. However, being stylish in the middle of July takes a little more than just white dress and sandals.
Undoubtedly colours, uplifting prints, a linen jumpsuit and loose cuts will be your best allies this month in addition to accessories like wicker bags, espadrilles and sandals. Here are some stylish and fun outfit ideas for you to try this July.
Monday: Linen jumpsuit
We’re starting the week with a favourite of the summer. A wide-leg linen jumpsuit. Wear it with a raffia bag in a vibrant colour to make the outfit pop! Then, top of the look with wedge espadrilles. A fresh style with a minimalistic touch, perfect for this season!
Tuesday: Fluid garments
Flowy and loose garments are a must every summer. It might feel strange to wear loose garments in both the upper and lower body, but it depends on how we do it. Done right, they can be very slimming.
Opt for a blouse with subtle ruffles (either on the sleeve or on the waist as a peplum) and palazzo trousers. To further elongate your silhouette throw on wedges and add a belt for an hourglass effect. It looks amazing!
Wednesday: Halter top and paper bag trousers
If you are tall with and not gifted in the chest department, this is your type of top. Plus paper waist trousers will enhance your waist and feel comfy. Top off the outfit with mules or espadrilles and add a cute wicker clutch.
Thursday: Boho striped dress
We love this print because it’s easy to wear and super slimming. If the day you wear it you go to work and then a drink, granny flats or espadrilles will be the ideal footwear.
Throw on a shopper tote in a vibrant colour to add some punch to the look. But try mustard or a neutral hue if you want to keep it discreet.
Friday: Safari look
We all have a white t-shirt in our wardrobe, but surely few of you will have thought of wearing it with a white overshirt, right? Dare to try this combo with culotte trousers in a different colour and accessorise with flat sandals. A clean, fresh, flattering and elegant ensemble. What more can you ask for?
Saturday: Floral dress
Undoubtedly a summer essential. The floral dress will be the centre of your look if you wear it with discreet sandals that do not attract too much attention. For the day, go for flat sandals in a neutral colour and for the night, wear wedge espadrilles or black sandals with a bit (or a lot) of a heel.
Sunday: Striped jumpsuit
We’re finishing the week on similar note to how we started it; a striped jumpsuit! This time we suggest glaming it up by adding an elegant handbag and high heels. Perfect for the family Sunday meal or any plan.
