What are the jeans trends for 2023?

Which jeans will make the cut for the new year? Find out which jeans will still be in fashion in 2023 and which fashions we’ll be saying adieu to from our wardrobes for good.

Let our Personal Shoppers help you find the perfect style

Everyone has at least one pair of jeans in their wardrobe. Not only because this fabric never goes out of fashion, but also because it is one of the most versatile and easily adaptable to any style and occasion. We’re sure that this year will be no different and jeans will also be part of many of your looks, but which ones? We’ve already gone through skinny and low waist. Then, luckily, the trend led us to wear much more comfortable and flattering styles. What’s next? Our Personal Shoppers tell us which ones you need to have on your radar.

High-waisted bootcut jeans

These jeans go right up to the tip of the boot. They are neither too straight nor too flared, so they fit almost everyone.

They look great on triangle silhouettes: the high waist will make your legs look slimmer and longer, while the flared leg will balance your figure.

Plus, it’s a pretty casual cut, so you can easily accommodate it with whichever style you desire. A basic T-shirt and a blazer offer a perfect contrast, for example. It can be worn with trainers or ankle boots, depending on the occasion.

Low-waisted wide-leg jeans

This much less common type of denim is more difficult to wear, but when you know how to get the most out of it you can achieve a fabulous look!

This cut of jeans will look great on you if you already have a balanced, hourglass silhouette.
The low waist is a go to for everyone with a short torso, so avoid it if you already have a natural low waistline.

It goes great with the Y2K trend, one that looks like we’re going to see for a few more seasons. So we better learn to love it! Here’s a look to go all out with this trend: low waisted denim with cropped cardigans/tops and ankle boots or sneakers.

Patchwork Jeans

Patchwork Jeans

Undoubtedly, one of the models that we hadn’t seen on the clothing shelves for the longest time. It’s great if you like daring and would like to draw attention to your legs, for example, if you have an inverted triangle figure.

They’re not hard to see in shops, so if you see one, get it! To combine them, less is more, keep in mind that the trousers already have enough prominence. Go basic with a smart blouse and neutral shoes to complete the look and that’s it.
They must be at the centre of attention, so choose a simple blouse and shoes to complete the look.

Wide leg jeans

This model creates a similar effect to the bootcut, but has subtle differences that you should be aware of in order to choose the cut that best suits your silhouette.

These types of jeans are perfect to conceal wide hips, so it looks great on women with a triangle silhouette.

As far as styles go, the 70s are its natural habitat. With turtlenecks and suede boots they look totally harmonious and create a look that looks great on many different occasions.

Must-haves in 2023, the coloured jeans

the coloured jeans look

While in other seasons we started to incorporate colour into our denim (in shirts and jackets, for example), now the tables have turnos and it’s time for jeans to have their moment.

As with patchwork, as soon as we add patterns and colours, the attention will inevitably go to our lower body, so keep this in mind if it’s not something you want to emphasise. However, if you’re looking to draw attention away from your tummy, for example, and you have slim legs (attention oval silhouettes), this will be one of your favourite jeans.

These are the styles we’ll be seeing the most on the streets this new year. As you can see, there is something for everyone and, as always, more classic models like regular and even the skinny ones, which we haven’t talked about, will continue to be seen. The important thing, always, is to choose ones that you feel great in and that enhance the best that you have. And remember that you can always count on your Personal Shopper to guide you in making the best choice for you, according to your style and figure.

Love acid wash skinny jeans must stretch… with neutral pointy heels and sloppy chunky asymmetrical chunky knots or oversize cardigans in neutral or pale grey.
